all in a day's work

as it happens on this show, one of my tasks is to accompany the decorator to the prop house to find the major pieces of a given set. now, i'm not gonna complain about that -- it is what it is, and usually results in a pretty good lunch.

anyway, here's the view of the third floor of the prop house at Warner Brothers


sorry about the quality or lack thereof, whatever... anyway, this is about 2/3 of the way up the aisle -- behind me here are thousands and thaousands of chairs... all told, the facility keeps on the order of ten thousand chairs for rent.


so on a given shopping day we traipse all up and down the major houses (usually primarily warner and universal), where she picks the pieces, I tag and shoot them, and make notes of the location so that when, several days later, we bring the truck to collect it all, we don't have to hunt it all down.

so here I am, making notes and kinda posing for a self port:


other days, like today, there isn't much to do... which can be a blessing.

so that's the little slice of my personal paradise for today... stay tuned, and i'll think of some way to charm you (or fail in the effort) next time.
