what is the sound of one hand clapping?

it's the sound of my new chill outlook. sure, i'm surrounded by madness; sure, things could better approach optimal... then again, they could be (and have been, as my careful reader well knows) one fuck of a lot worse. friday and monday were simply stupid days at work -- the kind of stuff that can really get under the skin if one allows it to.

i didn't. so yay for me.

anyway, i clearly had to reconcile the negativity of the last post, not only in my own mind, but to the few regulars out there looking for an update... so I'm good, okay? honest.

after all, halloween is just around the corner -- always a favorite day -- and then my birthday soon after.

as the kids would say, "woot!"
