I suck

...at blogging. I'm just too lazy, I guess. Apologies to those of you who grew accustomed to the way I used to blog, when I had something to say and occasionally waxed loquacious, even lyrical. These days I just throw up a couple of half-assed (no, not HNT) photos and call it a post.

Sorry about that. I'll start thinking again, and posting thoughts worth consideration soon. Promise.

On another note, the Malcolm yearbook has arrived. It's beautiful. 25 copies, to the tune of over $1,400 bucks (which can offcially be classified as the first photographs I've ever sold (even if, when all's said and done, I won't make money on the project) Anyway, I sold single books to seven people (one of whom is a stranger, something I had forbidden on the yearbook blog, but when push came to shove I needed the extra sale to reach 25 in the order, which triggered a 10% discount, and made books #24 and #25 essentially free), two books to the show's editor and sometime director, and ELEVEN to Jane, god bless her yet again.

On yet another note, I had gotten used to dreamless sleep -- seemed like it had been forever since I'd dreamed -- until lately. Dreams have returned with a vengeance, and I'm having these all night sci-fi adventures that I wake up from seeking pen and paper, convinced they'll make a splendid movie.

Before this I mostly had zombie dreams, with which I'd been plagued since I first saw Romero's Night Of the Living Dead as a boy (but which have long since ceased to be scary), the occasional haunting dream (which are always very frightening), and the all-too-rare sexy dream, or the equally rare (and equally satisfying) flying dream. In my flying dreams I was always an arm-flapping flyer, which sounds absurd, I know, but which is also very satisfying as it's really physical... jump, flap, flap, flap, flap, SWOOP, SOAR...

Finally, on one last note:

The dog has, since I've been home for a couple of weeks, decided I'm not to be feared after all, and I seem to be his new favorite. Here we are, with the lovely Sam and Luci.
