hope springs eternal

I find this an apt image with which to introduce the new year, toward which we've turned such hopeful eyes. I post in my jammies this morning as I sip a margarita (hair of the dog, y'know) and 'power up' those parts of me that are still offline.


We had a "hair party," last night, among our other debaucheries... thus, my mother's hair is now bright pink, my wife's is auburn, shot through with bright copper, and mine, along with my brother's, is blonde. It's true. I'll let those of you who know what I look like digest that one a while before I post the requisite pic.

All in all, a good time was had by all. Hope you did, too... happy new year.
