Shades of J
If you screw up your eyes and engage your ubermind (the one that saw things in childhood; the one that we forget as adults), you can almost see it as a tangible thing, that path stretches out before each and every one of us... it's the same path we first crawled then toddled upon. we've skipped upon it, we've fallen and scraped a knee, we've swaggered, stamped, stood firm, and yes, slipped (the latter too often) on its uncertain pitch.
for some odd reason we're allowed but one direction on the path (or we've forgotten how to go the other way), and our progress, no matter the gait, is impeturbable.
many will cast their own mind to the presumption of another's path (and far too few of these with the ubermind, let me assure you), and we are regaled with judgments that span the difference between your ubermind and their othermind ...
in the end it doesn't really matter that much... angels and devils are of the same stuff, and so wind up in the same and only place...
home.
